September 9, 2014 – After several months of study, the Authority’s Board of Directors voted to modify connection fees for both water and sewer. The net new cost for a standard 3/4″ water service has been reduced from $1325 to $1100. The cost for a standard sewer service has been reduced from $3275 to $1200. The new fees become effective September 15, 2014.
Capital recovery fees, which are charged to build new system capacity, have been reduced by 45% for water and 63% for sewer. Concurrently, tap fees, which are charged to pay for labor and materials to install a new connection, have been increased by approximately 20% to cover actual costs.
“The Board wanted our fee structure to be high enough to pay for immediate costs and help build future system capacity, but they also wanted to set fees low enough to encourage development,” said Marcie Seleb, general manager. The full fee schedule can be seen by clicking the following links:
